Who is Cyndi?

Hi, my name is Cyndi McConnell. I am a wife, mother and nana, to the most beautiful and amazing grandkids! (I may be a little biased, but aren't all grandparents?) I was born and raised in Mississippi by loving parents who taught me the value of a job well done and the importance of staying true to my morals. I have been living in Alabama for over 25 years.

I love God (first and foremost), my family and baking! I love spending time with my grandkids and traveling the "roads less traveled", especially the mountains, they are my happy place, so peaceful and serene. God's majesty is everywhere, but the mountains are simply amazing! (Picture above taken by a friend). My favorite Holiday is Christmas!

My Faith is who I am; it has formed me into who I am today, how I strive to live my daily life and how my ethics are weaved into my work. If I compromise my morals, I have myself and more importantly, GOD, to answer to.

Isaiah 25:1 is one of my favorite scripture verses.

Owning a bakery has always been a dream of mine. I love making people happy and baked goods make people happy! (Who doesn’t love a good cookie or cupcake?) However with a business comes paperwork. Although I could do the paperwork – I just wanted to bake!

Since this is where my experience is and something that I do enjoy, a new dream was formed – to help business owners, like yourself, focus on YOUR dream.

Baking vs. Bookkeeping

I love analogies and since baking is what I know, it is easy for me to compare baking to bookkeeping.

Like baking, bookkeeping takes skill, knowledge and research to achieve the end results that you desire. I will help you to understand your financial reports and how each transactions affects your bottom line.

Think of it like this. You walk into a bakery, you are surrounded by the enticing aroma of the incredibly delicious looking pastry. You don’t really care about the details on how it was made, all you want is to experience the glorious goodness and the feeling that it gives you. You only want the delicious end result!
